Anorthominasragrite is a very rare mineral, to date (August 2021) reported only from the type locality.

Localities

At the type locality, the North Mesa Mine group, Temple Mountain, San Rafael Mining District, Emery county, Utah, USA, the host rock is conglomerate. Anorthominasragrite occurs as microcrystalline crusts and efflorescences in a silicified tree that has a rim of coal around it that is 6–25 mm thick. Associated minerals include orthominasragrite, minasragrite, bobjonesite, szomolnokite, sulphur, rozenite, kornelite and ferricopiapite (CM 41.959-979, Mindat).
