Localities

There are two co-type localities, Big Fish River and Rapid Creek, both at the Dawson mining district, Yukon, Canada. There barićite occurs as fracture fillings in phosphate veins in ironstone, associated with siderite, vivianite, lazulite, whiteite, collinsite, childrenite and quartz (HOM, Mindat).
