Localities

At the Gardiner Complex, Kangerlussuaq Fjord, Sermersooq, Greenland, barytolamprophyllite is associated with amphibole, eudialyte, natrolite and pectolite (HOM).

At the type locality, Kukisvumchorr Mt, Khibiny Massif, Murmansk Oblast, Russia, barytolamprophyllite occurs in ijolite containing lamprophyllite, associated with aegirine, nepheline, K-feldspar, cancrinite and apatite. The barytolamprophyllite occurs as a foliated aggregate with single crystal grains up to 5 mm (Scienta Sinica 14.1546-1553, Mindat).
