Localities

At the type locality, Alluaiv Mountain, Lovozersky District, Murmansk Oblast, Russia, cancrisilite occurs in ultra-agpaitic pegmatites in a differentiated alkalic massif. Associated minerals include K-feldspar, nepheline, sodalite, arfvedsonite, aegirine, manaksite, eudialyte and lamprophyllite (HOM).
