Localities

At the first recorded locality, the Velikaya Guba Deposit, Zaonezhie peninsula, Medvezhyegorsky District, Republic of Karelia, Russia, chromium-dravite occurs in micaceous metasomatites, associated with chromium-bearing phengite, tainiolite, vanadium-bearing muscovite, quartz and dolomite (AM 69.210).
