Pegmatites

Ferrokentbrooksite is a rare zirconium-bearing cyclosilicate.

At the type locality, the Poudrette quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Montérégie, Québec, Canada, ferrokentbrooksite is a primary late-stage phase in a small pegmatite dike in nepheline syenite (MinRec 35.4.348, Webmin). Associated minerals include serandite, rhodochrosite, nepheline, natrolite, microcline, gonnardite, fluorite, fluorapatite, catapleiite, calcite, ancylite-(Ce), albite and aegirine (Mindat, MinRec 35.4.348).
