At the type locality, the Anton Mine, Heubach Valley, Wittichen, Schenkenzell, Rottweil, Freiburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, metanováčekite is associated with nováčekite (HOM).

At the Sue Mine, Bull Canyon, Asbestos Point area, Sierra Ancha Mining District, Sierra Ancha Mountains, Gila County, Arizona, USA, metanováčekite is associated with bassetite and saléeite (HOM).
