Pegmatites

Paulkerrite occurs as an alteration product of triplite in complexly zoned granite pegmatites (Webmin, HOM)

At the type locality, the 7U7 Ranch, Bagdad Mine area, Hillside, Eureka Mining District, Yavapai county, Arizona, USA, paulkerrite is a secondary phosphate in a granite pegmatite, occurring on fracture surfaces in massive triplite. Associated minerals include triplite, bermanite, phosphosiderite, leucophosphite, strengite and switzerite (HOM, Minrec 15.303-306, AM 70.875).
