Rammelsbergite is an arsenic-bearing mineral which occurs in nickel and cobalt veins formed at moderate temperatures, with other nickel-cobalt minerals (Webmin, HOM). Associated minerals include skutterudite, safflorite, löllingite, nickeline, bismuth, silver, algodonite, domeykite and uraninite (HOM).

Localities

The type locality is Schneeberg, Erzgebirgskreis, Saxony, Germany.
