Arsendescloizite occurs as a secondary mineral in oxidised hydrothermal polymetallic deposits (Webmin).

Localities

At the type locality, the Tsumeb mine, Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia, arsendescloizite occurs in the oxidised zone of a polymetallic ore arsenic-bearing sulphide deposit. The mineral is associated with willemite, chalcocite, mimetite, quartz and goethite, on a matrix of tennantite and chalcocite (AM 68.280).

At the Tonopah-Belmont mine, Belmont Mountain, Tonopah, Osborn Mining District, Maricopa county, Arizona, USA, arsendescloizite has been found as minute, bladed, olive-green crystals, approximately 0.1 mm in size. It is often associated with goethite in samples containing linarite, but linarite and arsendescloizite have not been found immediately together. (R&M 87-2.179).
