Braggite occurs in norites occurring in layered mafic intrusives, formed at high magmatic temperatures (Webmin).

Localities

At the type locality, Mokopane, Mogalakwena, Waterberg District, Limpopo, South Africa, braggite is associated with sperrylite, cooperite, laurite and platinum (HOM).

At the Stillwater Complex, Montana, USA, braggite is associated with pentlandite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, cubanite, nickel-bearing mackinawite, gold, cooperite, vysotskite, moncheite, isoferroplatinum, kotulskite, keithconnite and palladium-bearing tulameenite (HOM).
