At the type locality, Le Cetine di Cotorniano Mine, Chiusdino, Siena Province, Tuscany, Italy, brizziite is a weathering product of stibnite in an antimony deposit in highly silicified limestone, associated with stibiconite, senarmontite, mopungite and cetineite (Mindat, HOM)
