Hagendorfite is a manganese-bearing phosphate.

At the type locality, the Hagendorf South Pegmatite, Waidhaus, Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany, hagendorfite occurs in a granite pegmatite (Mindat, Webmin, HOM). It also occurs in phosphatic nodules in shale (Webmin, HOM). Associated minerals include wolfeite, hematite and triphylite (Mindat, Dana,HOM).
