Hydrothermal environments

Hrabákite is a new mineral, approved in 2020 and to date (May 2023) reported only from the type locality.

Localities

At the type locality, Uranium Mine No. 9, Háje, Příbram District, Central Bohemian Region, Czech Republic, hrabákite was found in sideritesphalerite gangue with minor dolomiteankerite at the dump. Hrabákite is associated with lead-rich tučekite, magnesium-rich silver, stephanite, nickeline, millerite, gersdorffite, sphalerite and galena. The hrabákite occurs as rare prismatic crystals up to 120 μm in size and as grains (MM 85.2.189-196).
