Hydrothermal environments

Klebelsbergite is an alteration product of stibnite in antimony deposits. Associated minerals include stibnite, valentinite, cervantite, kermesite, stibiconite, coquandite, peretaite, onoratoite and cetineite. (HOM).

Localities

At the type locality, Baia Sprie, Maramureș County, Romania, klebelsbergite occurs in the oxidation zone of the stibnite deposit (Mindat).
