Localities

At the type locality, the Szklarska Poręba Huta granite quarry, Szklarska Poręba, Karkonosze County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland, microscopic mixed kristiansenite-silesiaite crystals have been found in the granitic pegmatite. Associated Minerals include zircon, quartz, pyrite, malayaite, kristiansenite, kozłowskiite, fergusonite-(Y), clinochlore, chalcopyrite, cassiterite, bismuthinite, andradite, allanite-(Ce) and albite (Mindat).

At the Boinás west skarn, El Valle-Boinás Mine, Belmonte de Miranda, Asturias, Spain, silesiaite occurs in calcic copper-gold skarn. Associated minerals include andradite, clinopyroxene, actinolite, hydroxyapophyllite-(K), babingtonite, hydroandradite, quartz, calcite and chalcopyrite (HOM).
