Localities

At the type locality, Bawana Mine, Beaver county, Utah, USA, stringhamite occurs in fractures in diopside-magnetite skarn near a contact between quartz monzonite and limestone, (Mindat, Dana) together with secondary and primary copper minerals (Webmin), associated with thaumasite, tenorite, kinoite and calcite (AM61.189, HOM).

At Christmas, Arizona, USA, stringhamite is associated with kinoite and apophyllite (HOM).
