Localities

At the type locality, the Kombat Mine, Kombat, Grootfontein, Otjozondjupa Region, Namibia, asisite occurs as yellow to greenish-yellow, 0.5 mm, platy crystals, in manganese silicate lenses near to a sulphide ore body. Associated minerals include hematophanite, baryte, jacobsite, hematite, copper, molybdophyllite and chlorite (HOM, Mindat).
