Environments
Palladseite is found in placer deposits, as a detrital mineral and in heavy separates.
Localities
At the type locality, Itabira, Minas Gerais, Brazil, palladseite occurs sparingly in the residual concentrates
from gold washing, associated with
arsenopalladinite,
isomertieite and atheneite.
Individual grains are up to 0.5 mm in size
(MM 41.123).
At the Cauê mine, Itabira, Minas Gerais, Brazil, palladseite occurs in
specularite and magnetite
associated with palladian gold,
isomertieite and
sudovikovite
(HOM).
